Summer Fun

We've been busy adjusting to our new summer schedule these past few weeks.  Steve got out of school the week of May 20th!  It's been nice having him home with us for sure!  But although he's been home he still has had homework to do; he was busy working on his Master's degree.  And I'm glad to report that he's FINISHED!!!  He finished up the last bit of homework for his program and now he just has to wait till all his credits go through!  I'm so proud of him and his decision to push through and get this degree...he's a constant example of a hard worker and I'm glad that our kids have a chance to see that example.

At the beginning of the month we had a chance to visit the Cooper family up North.  Since we always stay with Steve's parents we thought that it would be nice to stay with his brother that lives out in Erda (Tooele area) since we hardly ever see them.  It was GREAT!  We had such a great time!  We both got a chance to get to know them better; it's hard when you come from such a big family to get to know the older siblings.  We went to the zoo, did a little shopping, went swimming, had a couple of BBQs, had home-cooked breakfast EVERYDAY, and played with a LOAD of kids!  It was great!  We were actually really bummed we had to leave.

Sawyer had a great time in Gma and Gpa's backyard, getting into everything!  His favorite was this cup.

This is Mason.  He and Teigan are the same age.  She LOVED him and I'm pretty sure that he ejoyed her company too.

Steve's sister Stephanie and her son Dexter.  She and her family moved to Chicago last year for school and this was the first time we'd seen them since they moved.

Silly girls!  Oh Teigan was in heaven!  She had so many kids to play with!

This was back in May.  Our friends were getting married!!!  It was such a beautiful wedding and such a perfect day for it!

Her dress was worn by her grandma and her mom.  It was so pretty and it fit her perfectly!
